3 Foods That Positively Affect your Skin

Now that we’ve gone over the 3 foods that negatively affect your skin, it’s time to go over the 3 foods that positively affect your skin. If you didn’t get to read about the foods that negatively affect your skin, you can find that post here: https://bgtortora.blogspot.com/2023/04/3-foods-that-negatively-affecting-your.html?m=1

The same way you should avoid eating certain things for the sake of your skin’s health, you should take into consideration choosing healthier eating habits so that you may reap healthier skin care habits. If you are always eating foods that contain vitamins and nutrients, your skin will reflect that. I will be sharing with you 3 foods I found that positively affect your skin below.

#1: Fabulous n fatty fish

Incorporating fish into your daily diet is key to not only better memory but healthier and glowing skin. Fish contain omega-3 fatty acids which is vital in maintaining your skin’s health. The fatty acids are in charge of moisturizing and maintaining your skin’s thick and supple barrier. Stick to eating salmon, herring or mackerel which are all high in fatty acids. Fish also contains zinc which is known to be highly beneficial for one’s skin and prevents inflammation.

#2: Awe-inspiring avocados

Avocados are extremely good for eliminating wrinkles and leaving the skin glowing. The Vitamin A in avocados are what restore the skin’s texture and appearance, leaving the skin looking and feeling rejuvenated and youthful. The antioxidants in avocados are what also help eliminate the appearance of dark spots. I love avocados and have found all of this to be true, I’m walking and talking proof of it. Now go to your local supermarket and get some fresh avocados! Your skin will thank you later.

#3: Nuts galore!

The nuts pictured below are just a few of the many that are so healthy for your skin and overall wellness. Walnuts ate especially good for premature aging and contain vitamin B which is the best protection against exposures to dirt, pollution and more. Walnuts are also good at moisturizing and reducing dark circles. Walnuts, whether applied on the skin or eaten, are always beneficial for one’s health.

In conclusion, maintaining a healthy diet and skin care routine is a definite way to improving your overall skin health. Skin care doesn’t just start when you wash your face, it starts with what you consume as well. Think of your skin as a mirror. If you are always eating bad or always picking on your skin, with time, your skin will begin to reflect your poor eating habits and by picking on your skin comes blemishes and acne scars. With enough time, patience, healthy eating habits and proper skin hygiene, anyone can overcome skin issues.
